Ancient Healing Made Easy with Jujubes

Jujubes in the Instant Pot

Jujubes, often called the "healing fruit" in Traditional Chinese Medicine, have been used for centuries to replenish energy, boost the immune system, and improve overall vitality. As a new mom, finding easy ways to integrate these benefits into your busy routine can be a game-changer. That’s why we’re sharing a simple Instant Pot recipe to make jujube tea or stew, perfect for supporting your postpartum recovery.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of dried MotherBees California Jujubes
  • 5 cups of water
  • dash of cinnamon powder
  • Optional: 2 slices of fresh ginger and 1 tsp goji berries for added nourishment

Directions:

  1. Rinse the dried jujubes under cold water to remove any dust or debris.
  2. Tear the jujubes in half and add to your Instant Pot along with 5 cups of water.
  3. Add a dash of cinnamon powder.
  4. Optional: Add 2 slices of fresh ginger and 1 tsp of goji berries.
  5. Secure the lid and set it on “Pressure Cook” on “Normal” and “High” for 14 minutes.
  6. Once done, allow the pressure to release naturally.
  7. When ready, strain, then press extra juices with a potato masher, strain one more time in a finer sieve. 
  8. Drink or store in a glass jar in the fridge after it cools.
