Rich in nutritious oil, organic black sesame seeds add nutty, delicate flavor to breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Used abundantly in Asian and Mediterranean cooking, sesame seeds contain important healthy fat, fiber and minerals including calcium and magnesium. Black sesame seeds are a main ingredient in furikake, a popular Japanese seasoning blend, as well as black sesame tahini and halvah, a deliciously-sweet Middle Eastern treat. You can even use them to make your own kurogoma ice cream. Lightly toasting really brings out the flavor!
