All containers are microwave safe, except for the lids and any ramekin sauce cup. Please remove your lid before microwaving your meal. We suggest heating the food on a hot pan. Add a little water if needed and a lid, and heat for 3-5 minutes.
Each of our meals has heating instructions on the label based on the specifics of that meal, so be sure to give that a look before you start prepping your meal.

Yes, during the checkout process, you will have the opportunity to select the specific meals you want for your order. You can browse through our menu and choose the meals that best suit your preferences and dietary needs. Our user-friendly interface makes it easy to customize your order and select the meals that appeal to you. Simply follow the prompts during checkout to make your meal selections, and we will ensure that your chosen meals are included in your delivery.
Our meals are good to eat for 5 days after delivery on our local menu, and up to 8 days after delivery on our shipping menu. Some ingredients naturally hold up better than others, so we include suggestions on the meal label for which meals to eat earliest in your rotation. For example, any leafy green salad should be consumed earlier rather than later, etc.
All of our meals are portioned to serve one person. However, if you are looking to feed your family, friends, or simply desire larger portions, we offer A La Carte meals. You can select 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 items per delivery to accommodate your needs. Simply choose the desired quantity and proceed to checkout.
In many cases, yes. We have a feature called "Ingredients to Avoid" that allows you to customize your meals based on your dietary preferences and restrictions. When placing your order, you can select from a list of commonly substituted ingredients such as dietary preferences, proteins, and more. We will then ensure that any meals containing those ingredients are swapped out with suitable alternatives from the same delivery. This way, you can enjoy your meals without worrying about any specific ingredients that you prefer to avoid.
Yes, so we can make it super easy for future orders. You'll be prompted before you start the order process. Creating an account takes just a minute, you only have to do it once. All your info (payment, order history, plans, etc.) will be waiting for you when you return.
If you're not satisfied, we will make it right. If you're not satisfied with one of our products or our service - for any reason - we will gladly provide a refund.

For customers who require shipping, meals are typically shipped once a week, specifically on Wednesdays. This allows for timely delivery and ensures that your meals arrive in a timely manner.
On the other hand, for customers who are eligible for local delivery, we offer the convenience of twice-weekly deliveries. You can expect your meals to be delivered on Sundays and Wednesdays, providing you with fresh and delicious meals throughout the week.

Rest assured that we have conducted extensive testing to ensure the freshness and quality of your meals upon delivery. However, we understand the importance of maintaining optimal temperature during transit. To provide you with peace of mind, we have included a Fresh Tag card inside your box.
Please take a moment to locate the Fresh Tag card. On this card, you will find a sticker that serves as an indicator of the temperature of your meals. We have provided a color key on the card to help you interpret the sticker's color.
If the sticker on your Fresh Tag card is green to light orange, it means that your meals are within the correct temperature range for consumption. You can enjoy these meals with confidence.
However, if the sticker on your Fresh Tag card is deep orange or red, we advise you not to consume those particular meals. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our meal deliveries are scheduled for Sundays and Wednesdays each week.
For customers within our local delivery zones, your meals will be delivered on either Sunday or Wednesday, anytime between 10 am and 10 pm. You have the flexibility to choose to receive your meals twice a week or on either of these two days.
For our shipping customers, your meals will be shipped once a week, specifically on Wednesdays.
If you are located in our DC Market, please note that Sunday deliveries will be made between 10 pm on Sunday evenings and 6 am on Monday mornings. Mid-week deliveries can be expected between 10 pm on Wednesday evenings and 6 am on Thursday mornings.
To ensure a smooth delivery process, please provide detailed delivery instructions during the checkout process. This will help our delivery team ensure that your meals arrive at the desired time and location.
Your meals will be packaged in insulated boxes to maintain their freshness and temperature until you are able to retrieve them the following morning.
